Music Together® Class Begin Feb. 1 in Elkhart County Locations
The Goshen College Community School of the Arts is debuting new Music Together® classes for young children beginning the week of February 1 in the Elkhart County area.

Music Together® is an internationally recognized, research-based curriculum of singing and movement activities, with weekly fun-filled classes led by a trained professional. Each family will receive a delightful songbook and CDs for home use. A parent or trusted care-giver brings their child or children to each 45-min. class of the 10-week session, and actively participates in the music-making. No previous music experience is necessary!

Studies show that early music experience...

• Increases a child’s chances of doing well in school, i.e music learning supports all learning
• Develops music skills that are valued and can be utilized through one’s entire life
• Promotes self confidence and helps children develop poise in public settings
• Strengthens family and community bonds when experienced with others

For each Music Together 10-week session, the cost per family for one child is $120, with second child an additional $60, third child $30. Any family who would qualify for free or reduced school lunch will receive scholarship assistance for these music classes. Please contact Deb Kauffman at 574-535-7907 to receive assistance.

Spring semester classes will be held at the following times and locations. In addition to the weekly classes held at each location, ALL Music Together families will join together for an “All-Class Celebration!� on Sat., March 27, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the Goshen College Music Center.
